Manages project timelines, runs client communications, coordinates the contractor team, and owns post-launch adoption. The bridge between build and business, especially in multi-stakeholder environments with IT governance, executive sponsors, and department champions.
What you'll do
Day-to-day
Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverable tracking across multiple concurrent client engagements.
Run client communications: status updates, expectation setting, scope discussions, and feedback loops across executive sponsors, IT governance, and department champions.
Coordinate across the contractor team: assign work, track progress, unblock dependencies, and manage handoffs.
Manage the pilot lifecycle: ensure every pilot has a named champion, a defined hypothesis, UAT acceptance criteria, and a measurable adoption metric before build begins.
Enforce prerequisite gating: ensure data quality and integration foundations are proven before AI or automation builds start on top of them.
Own the adoption and enablement phase: training sessions, user onboarding, SOP delivery, and feedback collection.
Monitor usage and outcome metrics post-launch and surface insights to the team and client.
Produce client-facing deliverables: project plans, status reports, pilot summaries, and impact recaps.
Flag risks early: scope creep, timeline drift, resource conflicts, and client satisfaction signals.
Help structure proposals and SOWs for new and expanding engagements.
What we're looking for
You should
Have managed software or technology consulting projects with direct client accountability.
Technically fluent. You do not need to write code, but you understand how software gets built, how integrations work, and what realistic timelines look like.
Experienced in multi-stakeholder coordination: IT governance teams, executive sponsors, and department-level champions who each have different concerns.
An exceptional written communicator. You write clear status updates, concise meeting recaps, and client-ready documents without hand-holding.
Have a service orientation. You genuinely care about whether clients are getting value and whether end users are adopting what was built.
Organized and proactive. You track details, follow up without being asked, and surface problems before they become emergencies.
Thrive in async-first environments. You use tools and written artifacts to keep people aligned instead of scheduling calls.
Nice to have
Bonus points
Experience in a boutique consultancy, agency, or startup environment (not just large enterprise PMOs)
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 environments, ERP systems, and automation tools
Background in construction, manufacturing, or operations-heavy industries
Background in change management, user adoption, or customer success roles
Comfort with light scoping and estimation for technical work
